In part of the Kyoto University – National Taiwan University International Symposium, Sep.1-2, 2014, Kyoto University, which aims to promotes the whole university international collaboration between both universities, the Graduate School of Management, Kyoto University, held the management research session with the Collage of Management, National Taiwan University (NTU) at the Case Study Seminar Room, General Research Bldg II, Kyoto University. Ten faculty members from GSM, Kyoto Univ. and seven from CM, NTU, joined this session in the afternoon of Sep. 1 and showed interesting research results and discussed future collaboration in near future with 20 and more audience. Our topics broadly covered family business, corporate governance, business groups, project management, innovation management, service management, corporate finance and financial accounting, including big data analysis, video ethnographic approach, conflict resolution, emerging economies and so on. Before the seminar, in the opening ceremony of whole symposium, we agreed on the launch of the double degree program between both faculties as our university presidents gave their signature for our agreement. We also discussed how we will develop current student exchanges, visiting scholar exchanges, research workshops and future research collaboration in several fields. We are very much honored to have this seminar and learn future possibilities to develop it.
