【Background】
Joined the Export-Import Bank of Japan (now Japan Bank for International Cooperation (JBIC)) in 1995 after graduating from the Faculty of Economics, The University of Tokyo. Received master’s in finance from the London Business School in 2005. Following appointments including the Infrastructure Finance Group, worked as a visiting researcher at the Chatham House in the UK from 2020 to 2021. After returning to JBIC, appointed as Special Advisor for Operation Policy and Strategy, Corporate Planning Group. From 2023, currently working as Managing Executive Officer of JBIC, Global Head of Infrastructure and Environment Finance Group.
