【Background】
Samuel Mortimer holds a PhD in Ethics and Legal Studies from the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania, and a BA in Philosophy and Theology from the University of Oxford. Samuel’s research has been published in outlets including the Journal of Business Ethics, the Philosophical Quarterly, and the Best Paper Proceedings of the Academy of Management.

【Message】
A lot of important questions—from how to live a good life, to how to respond to the promises and challenges of globalization—have both philosophical and empirical dimensions. In this time of global flux, I think there is much to be learnt by taking an interdisciplinary perspective to these questions and integrating insights from the humanities and the social sciences.
