【Background】
Graduated with a Master's degree in Industrial Design from Takushoku University Graduate School. Joined Buffalo Inc. (formerly Melco) and has been working as an industrial designer since 1996. With a broad range of experience spanning both upstream and downstream corporate activities, including product design, sales promotion, customer support, and quality assurance, the focus has always been on industrial design and the creation of products and experiences. Since 2023, serves as Art & Design Director at Melco Holdings Inc./Melco Group Inc. Previously attended Kyoto University’s Graduate School of Management but did not complete the program. Currently serving as Vice Chairman of the Japan Industrial Design Association (a public interest incorporated association).
【Message】
There is a growing expectation for the nurturing and utilization of art and design within the industry. I aim to explore the collaboration between curators, management, artists, and designers, and strengthen the implementation of these initiatives in society. I look forward to working together with all of you to drive these activities forward.
