- With over 35 years of experience as a Japanese equity fund manager since the post-bubble period of 1990, I have dedicated myself to the development of the hedge fund industry since 2000 in Japan. However, the Japanese hedge fund industry has not developed as expected, leaving me with a sense of regret. Through this industry-academia collaboration, I hope to lay the foundation for the development of Japan's asset management industry and create a base for nurturing the human resources who will lead the industry.
