Tell us about the classes and research during your study abroad.

I took three courses: Financial Accounting, Operations Management, and Information Technology, and achieved good grades in each. Simultaneously, I worked on my Workshop II project, gathering data through online interviews.

Tell us about the school’s environment (Facilities, faculty and staff members, students, etc.).

Seoul National University boasts excellent infrastructure and facilities, with a beautiful and well-maintained campus. The university hosts a large MBA program, accommodating over 100 students per cohort, including a significant number of international students. The staff members from both the MBA office and the exchange program office are highly supportive. However, the number of exchange students in the MBA program is relatively small. During my exchange term, there were only three exchange students: two from Japan and one from Germany.

Reflect your study abroad and tell us about your thoughts.

My exchange program at Seoul National University was a transformative experience, both academically and personally. The opportunity to study in South Korea allowed me to immerse myself in a new culture, gain a global perspective, and interact with diverse peers. Academically, the MBA courses were challenging yet rewarding, and I appreciated the high standard of teaching and the collaborative learning environment. The international student community was vibrant, and I particularly enjoyed connecting with students from different countries, which enhanced my understanding of global business practices.

Outside of academics, I explored Seoul’s rich culture, from its historical landmarks to its modern urban life. I also enjoyed the local cuisine, particularly Korean BBQ and fried chicken. This exchange not only broadened my academic horizons but also enriched my personal growth, providing me with lasting memories and valuable lessons that I will carry forward in my future career.
