The Graduate School of Management Alumni Association held a spring event “GSM DAY 2024” on March 24, 2024. The event was attended by 145 alumni, current students, prospective students, faculty and staff, of which 43 were international pariticipants. GSM DAY is an event to celebrate the successful graduation and facilitate international networking of all people of GSM.
The day was full with farewell speeches by the Dean Norio Sawabe and Professor Asli Colpan, a short lecture by Adjunct Associate Professor Akiko Murai, graduation speeches by outstanding students, bouquet presentations to departing faculty members, the special Kanze Noh “Takasago” performance, and tea ceremonies by alumni.
Prior to this main event, the departing faculty members, namely, Professor Yoshikazu Maegawa, Associate Professor Keiji Murakami, and Dr. Satoshi Shimada, provided lectures, which was also well attended.
We would like to thank all those who attended and all those who took part in making this event a success. We plan to host a similar event near year, and look forward to seeing you there again!
