Tell us about the classes and research during your study abroad.

Most courses were divided into two parts, lectures and practices, each of which was held once a week. In the lectures, students basically listened to the professor's lessons, and in the practices, we did excersises and actual work. In many lectures, students were often asked questions during class.

Tell us about the school’s environment (Facilities, faculty and staff members, students, etc.).

The facilities and location were good. There were convenience stores, restaurants, and supermarkets nearby. The library and other study spaces were also well-equipped. There were also many university-sponsored events, so I had no trouble finding activities.

Did you participate in any activities besides lectures and research?

I managed a weekly event called "Language Cafe" for students interested in Japan. The events included Japanese games and Japanese speaking practice.

Reflect your study abroad and tell us about your thoughts.

Although there were some hardships, such as an environment where Japanese was not spoken and pressure to study, I was able to learn many things and broaden my horizons. I also had a lot of fun exploring European cities and spending time with friends I made there.

What kind of impact or changes has your experience of studying abroad given you? (Finding a job, future vision, point of view, etc.)

I was able to find a job through the London Career Forum, which had a great impact on my job search. I also became more confident in my language skills, which enabled me to take on the challenge of working internationally.

Please give some advice and message to the prospective students who are thinking of studying abroad.

Studying abroad is not easy, but there is so much to gain from the difficulties. You will grow both mentally and linguistically, so I encourage you to give it a try!
