2012.06.12 Graduate School of Management Held Joint Seminar with the Japan Bank for International Cooperation (JBIC)

 

 On June 12, 2012, the Graduate School of Management held a joint seminar with the Japan Bank for International Cooperation (JBIC) at the JBIC Headquarters. The seminar theme was, “We Japanese should be able to do business better in India. Why not?”

This seminar was planned by the graduate school’s Visiting Chair for Project Finance and was jointly sponsored with the JBIC.

Following the introduction of the agenda by Professor Masaaki Anma (JBIC, GSM Visiting Professor), Mr. Eiji Hosoi (Toyo Engineering), Mr. Raj Pande (Attorney), Professor Gautam Ray (India Ministry of Finance, Graduate School of Management Professor), and Mr. Tadashi Maeda (JBIC, Special Advisor to the Cabinet) spoke about current and future topics regarding business in India.

Afterwards, with the addition of Mr. Kojin Nakakita (Hitachi) to the above presenters, there was an active panel discussion regarding the possibilities of business in India.

The event was open to businessmen and the general public, and was attended by approximately 200 people.
