Professor Tan had a special lecture at Case Study Seminar Room on the third floor of Research Building No.2 on 2 June, 2016 hosted by Graduate School of Management and Mizuho Securities Endowment.

This lecture was intended to share the latest research on Global Supply Chain Management with students from the Graduate School of Management (GSM) and those from the Graduate School of Economics (GSE), Kyoto University.

In this lecture, Professor Tan, a vice president of Koc University, Turkey, delivered a talk titled “Global Sourcing and Supply Chain Management”

Professor Tan emphasized that approaching supply chain management as a way of implementing business process innovation introduces new opportunities for the companies to structure their global supply chains. Active discussion was made after the presentation.

The lecture was successfully completed with 40 attendees from GSM and GSE.
