【Background】
Received BS from Keio University in 1975 and Master of Professional Studies (MPS, now MMH, Master of Management in Hospitality) from Cornell University in 1980. After Nomura Securities Co., Ltd.
Tanuma entered Green House Group and became president and chief executive officer in 1993.
Served as chairman of the Japan Foodservice Association from 2008-2010.
Currently Executive Councilor for the Tokyo Chamber of Commerce and Industry, a member of Board of Trustee, Cornell University since 2011.
Regional Vice President of Cornell Hotel Society Japan, the biggest alumni association from 2002 to 2020.
