A forum on Shariah Compliant Construction Contract was held to commemorate launching a new book on December 19, 2018 at Graduate School of Management, Kyoto University. This forum is organized to publicize launching a new book and share parts of contents with the audience. Followed by the opening remarks by Prof Kiyoshi Kobayashi, Prof Khairuddin Abdul Rashid from International Islamic University Malaysia, the leader of this book project, delivered overviews of the book. And contributing authors (see below) gave a brief introduction of chapters. Prof Yoshinori Hara, the Dean of Graduate School of Management delivered a congratulatory speech for the publication of new book. At the last session, the participants discussed the future direction of Shariah-based management study and confirmed the necessity of collaboration among Kyoto University, International Islamic University Malaysia and University Sultan Zainal Abidin in the future.
