【Brief Overview】
 This presentation explores the interaction between policy and business from a historical perspective. A number of scholars have framed an approach to the role of the state in economic growth for emerging economies. This research attempts to move developmental state analysis for the more recent period to illuminate the Turkish case in a comparative and global perspective.
