【Brief Overview/概要】
Ms. Emiko Higashi has an extensive career in finance focusing on M&A, and founded her own consulting firm in Silicon Valley advising on technology related matters. Ms. Higashi also serves as an outside board member of several companies including Takeda Pharmaceutical Company Limited.
She will discuss about the current state of Silicon Valley Ecosystem, and　Social Entrepreneurship.

東恵美子氏は、M&Aがご専門で、金融会社でのキャリアを経て、シリコンヴァレーで、テクノロジー関係のアドヴァイスをするコンサルティング会社を立ち上げられ、ご活躍中です。
現在、武田薬品工業株式会社など、数社の社外取締役も務められています。
今回の授業ではシリコンヴァレーの起業家を生んでいくエコシステムの現状、および、その中で利益のみならず、社会的、環境的インパクトも追及する二重のゴールを目指す社会起業がどういう位置付けにあるか等についてお話いただきます。
