【Brief Overview/概要】
Ms. Haruka Mera is the founder and CEO of Readyfor, the first and largest crowd funding service in Japan. Readyfor enables many businesses and individuals, many of which intends to have social impact, to acquire the needed funding to initiate the operations.
Dr. Alex Keeley is a former graduate student in the Human Survivability Department in Kyoto University who developed an idea for a small hydro-electronic dam in a site located in a small village in Fukuoka, Kyushu. After several years of development, his idea is finally being realized.
In the panel discussion, both Dr. Keeley and Ms. Haruka will share how and why they developed their innovative and entrepreneurial ideas, which is addressing the Sustainable Development Goals.
米良はるか氏は国内最大のクラウドファンディングサービス「Readyfor」の立ち上げを行い、現在CEOです。Readyforは夢ある素晴らしいプロジェクトとビジネスを立ち上げるための、資金調達を応援します。
京都大学大学院総合生存館を卒業されたアレックス・キーリ博士は、在学中から九州の福岡で小型水力発電の会社を立ち上げ、今年初めに、事業化を実現されました。
パネルディスカッションでは米良氏とキーリ博士は、それぞれの事業を始めるきっかけや起業家としての苦労、経験を共有します。
