On November 26, we had a special lecture on “IKEBANA* and Sustainable Hospitality Management” by Prof. Senko IKENOBO, Headmaster Designate of IKENOBO.

In this lecture, Prof. Senko IKENOBO talked about history of IKEBANA and explained kinds of forms, showing live demonstration of “Jiyuka 自由花 (Free Style)”. After the lecture, students who participated onsite experienced IKEBANA and Prof. Senko IKENOBO gave them advices one by one. Students were inspired by practicing IKEBANA to gain an innovative hospitality mindset. The lecture ended on a high note.
