- 2004: Earned a doctorate degree in administration, planning and social policy, Harvard University Graduate School of Education after postgraduate work at the University of Oxford.1993 and 1995: Master degrees in Intercultural studies from Boston University and Human Development and Psychology from Harvard University. 2002-2020: Served as academic advisor, faculty director and visiting scholar at Harvard University (Law, Education and Public Health schools), and the Global Leadership Program, Graduate School of Medicine, University of Tokyo.
