On May 3, 2023, the Graduate School of Management, Kyoto University was granted the international accreditation EQUIS* from EFMD (European Foundation for Management Development, Headquarters: Brussels), a global, non-profit, membership-driven organization for higher education institutions (business schools, etc.) related to management development. The Graduate School of Management is the first Japanese National University Corporation to achieve the EQUIS accreditation.

With this achievement, the Graduate School of Management will receive the EQUIS Award at the EFMD Annual Conference to be held in Lyon, France in June 2023.

We would like to express our sincere gratitude to all our stakeholders who cooperated in the EQUIS accreditation. We will continue to improve the quality of research and education activities and management of the Graduate School of Management, and strive to contribute to our stakeholders.

* About EQUIS
EQUIS is one of the three international accreditations (EQUIS, AACSB, and AMBA). It is awarded to schools of high quality after evaluating 10 major areas of higher education institutions: governance, programs, students, faculty, research, executive education, resources and administration, internationalization, ERS(ethics / responsibility/ sustainability), and connections with practice. The Graduate School of Management was granted the EQUIS  accreditation through rigorous evaluation, such as the self-assessment report and peer review evaluations by a peer review team, and deliberated by the EQUIS accreditation committee.
