2019.6 The paper co-authored by Professor Tomoki Sekiguchi has been selected as a finalist for CEIBS Best Paper Award at the Annual Meeting of Academy of Management

The following paper co-authored by Professor Tomoki Sekiguchi (Co-authors: Ting Liu, Assistant Professor, Hiroshima City University and Azusa Ebisuya, Visiting Scholar, Osaka University) has been selected as one of the four finalists for International Management Division CEIBS Best Paper Award at the 79th Annual Meeting of the Academy of Management. Academy of Management is the largest scholarly management association in the world. The paper reports qualitative and quantitative studies that investigated the characteristics of a certain type of employees who serve the bridging function between headquarters and foreign subsidiaries in Japanese multinational corporations. It will be presented in the “CEIBES Best Paper Award Session” on August 13, 2019, at the annual conference held in Boston, USA.
