【Brief Overview/概要】
1) Its role in Sustainable Development Goals；
2）Importance of innovation and entreprenuership observed from the ground:
At this interactive session, Mr. Bedford will discuss about The Nature Conservancy (TNC), one of the largest NGOs in the area of environment and conservation, focusing on its role and impact addressing the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Further, he will also discuss the importance of entrepreneurship and innovation in the environment and climate change space, observed based from the ground.

環境の分野で、世界最大の規模で活動している、NGO、ネイチャーコンサーバンシーのアジア太平洋地域担当Managing Director, Bedford氏が、組織の概要、ミッション、そして2015年に国連で採択された、「持続可能な開発目標」到達のための活動や効果について、ご講義くださいます。さらに、自身が現場で仕事をしてきた経験に基づく、環境保全や気候変動の分野でのイノベーションや起業家精神の重要性について、お話しくださり、受講者と議論する予定です。使用言語は英語です。
