【概要 / Brief Overview】

Lecture Title: ‘Challenges of Foreign Financial Institutions in Tokyo Market ‘

Raphael Cheminat, Chief Country Officer for Societe Generale Group in Japan, will speak on the strength and challenges of Societe Generale, one of the G-SIBs (Global Systematically Important Banks) from France.  He will provide his views on Tokyo and Asian financial markets, and what are the focus of Societe Generale in Japan.  He also speaks on necessary qualifications for an international banker from his experience.

Introductory remarks will be made by Toru Shikibu, Adjunct Professor at Graduate School of Management, Kyoto University and former financial regulator of Ministry of Finance and Financial Services Agency, on the development of Tokyo financial market and the role of foreign financial institution.
