November 25, 2021 “Innovative Hospitality Management” Special Lecture Series 4: “Ikenobo Ikebana” by Prof. Senko Ikenobo (Headmaster Designate, IKENOBO) and Ikebana Exercise

Students enrolled in this course will not be eligible for points.

In this special lecture, Prof. Senko Ikenobo, Headmaster Designate of IKENOBO, will talk about the essence of Ikebana by demonstrating Ikebana practice.

Students will be able to learn the history of Ikebana and experience Headmaster Designate’s Ikebana demonstration online.
Students who participate in person will be able to experience Ikebana hands-on.

The lecture will be conducted primarily in English.

Please confirm the following conditions.
■You can choose how to participate, online or in person.
■This event will be held at Ikenobo Kaikan (248, Donomae-cho, Rokkaku-dori Higashinotoin Nishi-iru, Nakagyo-ku, Kyoto, 604-8134 JAPAN)
■We are going to the Ikenobo Kaikan by a chartered bus. Meeting location and time are as follows;
Main gate of Kyoto University (正門前) at 16:00, November 25.
Please come to the meeting place ON TIME.
■We will take your temperature and disinfect your hands with alcohol before boarding the bus.
■Please kindly note that;
Please do NOT forget to wear a mask.
If you cannot wear a mask during the transportation and lecture, you will not be allowed to participate in this field trip.
If you are not feeling well on the day, you may not be allowed to participate in the tour.
