【Background】
After getting a Ph.D. in Agriculture at the University of Tokyo, he worked as a senior researcher at International Economy and Work Research Institute, an adjunct assistant professor at Kyoto University, and a senior lecturer at Tohoku University before he is in his current position. He is currently an adjunct associate professor at Kyoto University, Kyoto Seika University, and Tohoku University.
