Aging infrastructure is a major social issue in Japan. International standards for asset management (ISO55000 series) have been published, and implementation of asset management has started in Japan and abroad considering infrastructure as an asset to realize its value. Let us consider how asset management for roads should be implemented, since road is an important asset that supports the social and economic activities of the country.
