Professors Hara and Han participated to the annual conference of the Korea Society of IT Services via online and gave an invited talk entitled “Exploring Serviceology in the Age of Metaverse”. They conducted the talk alongside with Dr. Takenaka (a visiting professor) and Dr. Watanabe both coming from AIST, and Prof. Masuda (Senior Lecturer) in which they jointly explained several challenges plaguing Japanese businesses. During the joint talk they discussed the latest IT service research activities which utilize up-to-date advanced technologies towards formulating Metaverse. We hope that this event will be the first step towards closer research collaboration and interaction between related research institutions on IT services in Japan and Korea.
